The short version

TextDocket runs entirely on your Mac. Your messages, contacts and exports never leave your computer, and we do not collect any data from the app.

Messages. With your permission, TextDocket reads the Messages folder on your Mac to show your conversations and create exports. It works on a temporary read-only copy and never changes or deletes your messages.
Contacts. If you allow it, TextDocket reads your contacts only to print names next to phone numbers. You can decline and the app still works.
Exports. Files you export are saved only to the folder you choose.
No collection. The app has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. It does not send your data to us or to anyone else.
Purchases. Purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment details.

Hosting. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes standard request information (such as IP address) to deliver and protect the site. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.
